Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 October 2026

What we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and how you stay in control. No legalese where plain English will do.

The short version

  • We only collect what you type into our forms, plus the basics any website needs to run.
  • No advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser only remembers your theme and, after you fill in a form, your contact details so you never type them twice.
  • Scan and blueprint details are sent to our AI provider to write your report. It does not train on your data by default.
  • We never sell your information. We share it only with the providers that help us run Omniwink.
  • You can see, correct or delete your information any time: email hello@omniwink.com.

This summary helps you find your way. The full text below is what applies.

01Who we are

Omniwink (ABN 69 794 946 307) ("Omniwink", "we", "us") is an Australian done-for-you marketing studio. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit www.omniwink.com, use our free tools, contact us or become a client.

We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

02What we collect

Only what you give us, plus the minimum a website needs to work.

  • Free visibility scan: your business name, your website address, preferred tone and platform, and your name, email address and mobile number. We read what your business does and where it works from your website.
  • Website blueprint: your answers to the seven questions (such as your current website, audience, goals, pages and features), your name, email address and, if you choose, a phone number.
  • Calculators: your name, email address and mobile number, and the numbers you enter (such as missed calls a week or hours of admin), so we can follow up about your result.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, business name, what you are interested in, how you would like us to follow up, and your message.
  • Clients: the details we need to deliver the work, such as logins you share with us, brand information, photos, and billing details.

When you give us a website address, we read that website's public pages to produce your report. For the free scan we also look up the business's public social media profiles and Google Business Profile (using web search and Google's Places service). We do not log in or access anything private.

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use these to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse (for example, limiting how often a form can be submitted).

03Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

We store two things in your browser, on your device only: whether you chose the light or dark theme, and, once you have filled in one of our forms, your name, email address and phone number, so you do not have to type them again (for example, every calculator stays unlocked). You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, or ask us to delete everything we hold about you.

If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy first.

04How we use your information

  • To produce your scan report or website blueprint and show it to you.
  • To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about our services.
  • To deliver the services you sign up for, including publishing content and running follow-up on your behalf.
  • To send invoices and manage your account.
  • To keep our website and systems secure and working.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

05How we use AI

Our free tools and services use AI to draft content. When you use the free scan or website blueprint, the details you enter and the public text of your website are sent to the AI services we use to generate your report and sample posts.

Your finished report is saved at a private link so you can come back to it. The saved report holds your answers and the report itself, but not your email address or phone number. Anyone with the link can open it, so share it only with people you choose. It is deleted automatically after 90 days, or sooner if you ask us.

Our AI services process this data on our behalf, to produce your report. If our main AI service is unavailable, the request goes to OpenRouter, which we set to use only AI providers that do not store or train on it.

For clients, a person reviews AI-drafted content before it is published, and you can ask to approve everything yourself.

06Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run Omniwink, and only as much as each one needs:

  • Vercel, which hosts our website.
  • GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), which powers our customer relationship system and the Omniwink Hub, where enquiries and client accounts are stored.
  • Our AI service providers, which draft reports and content, including OpenRouter as a backup.
  • Upstash, which stores saved free reports and helps protect our forms from abuse.
  • Cloudflare, if we use its Turnstile check to stop spam submissions.
  • Payment and accounting providers, to bill clients.
  • Social media and search platforms (such as Meta and Google), when we publish content to your accounts at your request.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, the public or Omniwink.

07Overseas storage

Some of our providers store or process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose established providers with strong security, and we take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

08Marketing messages

If you use our free tools or contact us, we may follow up by email, text or phone about your enquiry and our services. Every marketing email and text includes an easy way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing us. We follow the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

09Your customers' information

When we run services for your business (for example, texting back missed callers or requesting reviews), we handle your customers' details on your behalf and only to deliver those services.

You remain responsible for your own privacy obligations to your customers, including telling them how you use their information and having their consent to contact them.

10Security and how long we keep it

We protect information with access controls, encrypted connections and reputable providers, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their job.

We keep enquiries and client records for as long as we need them for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements (for example, tax records), then delete or de-identify them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, unless the law requires us to keep it.

If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

11Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@omniwink.com. We will respond within 30 days, usually much sooner. There is no charge.

You can also contact us anonymously or using a pseudonym, although we may not be able to provide services that way.

12Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

13Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please email hello@omniwink.com and we will work to resolve it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

14Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the way we handle information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If a change is significant, we will let clients know.
